The Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County hosts several annual events to spread awareness, provide resources, and cultivate important dialogue around contemporary mental health issues. Support groups, MHRB board meetings, and other planning meetings take place on a regular basis as well. Pat Risser RSVP Conference
The annual RSVP Conference invites mental health professionals and community leaders together to hear from keynote and plenary speakers on a wide range of contemporary mental health issues. This event is held on the last Wednesday in March.
Suicide Prevention & Awareness Walk
Held annually on the last Sunday of September, the Suicide Prevention and Awareness Walk remembers those we’ve lost to suicide while raising awareness around the resources available in our community to prevent suicide and support individuals who are struggling.
Annual Luncheon
The Mental Health and Recovery Board Annual Luncheon is an opportunity for mental health professionals and community members to hear from a featured speaker about trending topics and practical ways we can advance the cause of mental health in our communities.
